Perfect weather over the past week has seen some incredible fishing, in fact I think it would be fair to say the fishing in Victoria is ON FIRE, with lots of snapper being caught in both Port Phillip Bay and Westernport!
Port Phillip Bay
Saturday morning staff member Eren fished with good mate Adam out on the Gasso. The boys managed 3 nice Snapper to 2.5kgs before they headed in for some Squid out off Black Rock. They were using Harimitsu 2.5 jigs in EWC and BC. They caught their bag and had fun catching and releasing plenty before calling it a day.
Lou Rocca fished Saturday morning out near the Gasso and caught his bag of Snapper with fish up to 4.5kg.
Andy Michelis and mate Dave fished Saturday morning in 17m out off Mordy. The boys caught 2 Snapper on first light and were over the moon.
Good customer Bashir fished near the channel off Mordy on Saturday morning bagging himself 2 Snapper to 2.5kgs.
