Goodbye Eric

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our dear friend and regular reporter on the Rex Hunt Fishing Show Eric. Eric was not only a regular on the show but a big part of Rex's life and the reason behind Rex starting the Futurefish Foundation. Mates Day is a regular event started by Rex that allows disabled people to spend a day fishing followed by a BBQ and celebration. Eric was the face of Mates Day and never missed an opportunity to go fishing. Eric reported regularly on the trout in Lilydale Lake and more importantly what he was having for tea on a Friday night- usually a roast! What a great man with a strong character and spirit. Rex is devastated by the loss of Eric and fishing will not be the same without you Eric.
