> Andrew and Al fished in 55 meters of water off Cape Woolamai on Saturday
> to land a 26 kilo (cleaned) mako, which we weighed at our Cranbourne
> store. It was taken on a tuna bait.

> Peter, Quin and Benny fished off the Flinders Bank in 70 meters of water
> to land a 25 kilo mako on the weekend.

> Regular customer Adam, has been at it again, fishing offshore for sharks
> in his tinnie. He fished in 70 - 75 meters out from the Western Entrance
> to land a thresher of around 40 kilos and makos to 36 kilos on tuna and

> Matt Thorney and his mate Dean fished the ebb tide at Corinella on Sunday
> to land a mulloway of 6 kilos on a pilchard. The boys also bagged out on
> snapper to 5 kilos.

> Jarrod Day fished with his mates, Blakey and Brendon this week. The boys
> landed a couple of nice mulloway on squid and live baits. The boys fished
> spot X in the late hours of the day.

> Customers Adrian, Cameron, Ella and Hannah fished the Corinella Hole on
> Saturday to land 13 whiting to 42 cm on pipi baits. They also landed
> pinkie snapper, mullet, silver trevally, flathead and a gummy.

> landed 20 whiting to 38cm along with a good mixed bag of salmon, leather

> WESTERN ENTRANCE
> Customer Blakey and his mate Will did an all nighter on Western Port on
> Friday. The boys fished the Western Entrance to land 3 gummies of 14, 18
> and 26 kilos and lost a bigger fish at the boat. They also got whiting to
> 47cm on pipis. All gummies took squid.

> TANKERTON
> Customer Jeff Clarke fished in 10 meters of water off Tankerton to land an
> amazing bag of whiting to 49cm. The fish were weighed at our Cranbourne
> store, with the biggest one tipping the scales at 991g. The second biggest
> fish was 48cm and went 885g. They are seriously fat whiting, and were
> caught on the flood tide.

> Steve from Ace Fishing Charters reports excellent numbers of whiting from
> the Tortoise Head bank, Middle Spit and Tankerton. There are also some
> large Garfish opposite Hastings and some nice pinkies near Buoy 12.

> of 10.2kg on whole Californian squid. He also landed a smaller gummy, 8

> This is an unconfirmed report. Regular customer Chris reports that his
> cousin from Brazil fished the surf beach at Gunamatta half way into the
> flood tide on Sunday. Using a paternoster rig baited with Californian
> squid he reportedly landed 2 bluefin tuna of 8-10kg. We are chasing photos
> at present.

> FRANKSTON
> Staff member Jarrod Day fished with charter boat operator Craig Seignor in
> 21m of water on Thursday morning. The boys landed 12 snapper to 3kg on
> 110mm Evil minnow flick baits on ¼ ounce jig heads. They also snagged some
> nice salmon to 800g and good calamari on Hyabusa jigs.

> GOLDEN BEACH
> Brian Rinaldi and his son David reported a successful competition at
> Golden Beach last weekend. Brian's best salmon went 2.5kg with David's
> best weighing in at 2kg. Other fish caught included gummies to 15kg,
> salmon to 2.8kg, snapper to 3.8kg, mullet and a bronze whaler of 50kg.

> Staff member Gary Clarke fished the Big River Arm on the weekend with his
> brother Don. They fished near Stockman's Point to land good numbers of
> Rainbow trout to 500g on Herberts lures. They also report plenty of Tiger
