Catch OF The Month
December: Loris
Here is our Italian Mate from the UK - Loris! A big Rex Hunt fan and a very keen angler. Loris caught this lovely Golden Trout fly fishing in a lake in Northern Yorkshire . He tells us that the fish weighed 13lb and said the best part of the day was to see the trout swim away. Magnificent fish and a great story, congratulations Loris!

Good Bye to a faithful friend.....

Well hopefully everyone had a great Christmas and Santa brought you lots of goodies – especially in the form of fishing tackle! Ad lets hope you can all have a chance to get out over the coming break to get stuck into the awesome fishing that is on offer at the moment.
Port Phillip
The snapper continue to come in thick and fast with lots of fish being taken over a large portion of the bay.
Last Saturday Beaumaris members Richard and John fished off Ricketts Point to bag out on snapper to 5kg, with best baits being pilchards. The boys had such a good time they went back and did it again on the Sunday morning, fishing the same spot they did exactly the same as on Saturday.
